River forecasts are based on observed precipitation and forecast
precipitation for the next 24 hours.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Mississippi River at Louisiana.
* WHEN...From this morning until further notice.
* IMPACTS...At 15.0 feet, The first quarter mile of Edison Avenue
beyond the railroad tracks begins flooding near this height.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 11:30 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 15.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending
at 11:30 AM CDT Thursday was 15.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to 15.7 feet early
Monday morning. Additional rises are possible thereafter.
- Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
Instruction:
