* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Western Madison County in southwestern Illinois... Northern Saint Clair County in southwestern Illinois... Northeastern Saint Louis City in east central Missouri... * WHEN...Until 900 AM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 557 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Overflowing poor drainage areas will cause minor flooding in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen, and additional heavy rainfall is expected. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Belleville, Granite City, O'Fallon, Alton, East St. Louis, Collinsville, Edwardsville, Godfrey, Fairview Heights, Cahokia, Swansea, Glen Carbon, Shiloh, Wood River, Troy, Bethalto, Maryville, Mascoutah and Pontoon Beach.
Instruction: 
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
