Wabash River at Riverton, and Mount Carmel. ...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Indiana...Illinois... White River at Edwardsport, Elliston, Hazleton, Petersburg, and Hutsonville Legacy Power Plant Site. .Additional rainfall of 1 to 2 inches across southern and central portions of Indiana has prolonged flooding along the lower White and Wabash rivers. Some of these points may experience a second crest early next week before falling back below flood stage. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Wabash River at Mount Carmel. * WHEN...From this evening to Monday morning. * IMPACTS...At 18.4 feet, Pumping started at Mt. Carmel. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:45 AM EDT Saturday /9:45 AM CDT Saturday/ the stage was 18.8 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage this evening to a crest of 19.1 feet tomorrow morning.
