...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Illinois...Indiana...
Wabash River at Hutsonville Legacy Power Plant Site.
Wabash River at Riverton.
Wabash River at Mount Carmel.
.Recent additional heavy rainfall around one to two inches has
produced minor flooding on the lower Wabash River. The Wabash River
near Hutsonville and Riverton will fall below minor flood stage
briefly later today into tonight before a second crest occurs Sunday.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Wabash River at Mount Carmel.
* WHEN...From late Saturday night to Wednesday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 18.4 feet, Pumping started at Mt. Carmel.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 11:45 AM EDT Friday /10:45 AM CDT Friday/ the stage was
18.5 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
early Sunday morning to a crest of 19.1 feet Sunday evening.
It will then fall below flood stage Tuesday evening.
- Flood stage is 19.0 feet.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
