...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Indiana...Illinois...
Wabash River at New Harmony.
.Recent heavy rainfall continues to cause rising levels on the
Wabash River. At New Harmony, the river is forecast to crest just
over a foot above flood stage late Monday.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Wabash River at New Harmony.
* WHEN...From this morning to late Thursday morning.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:30 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 15.1 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 16.1
feet Monday evening. It will then fall below flood stage
early Thursday morning.
- Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
