...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Indiana
and Illinois...
Wabash River from Montezuma to Riverton.
.Lowland flooding will continue along a part of the Wabash River in
western Indiana this weekend, and likely conclude by noon Monday.
The crest as of early Saturday afternoon is nearing Vincennes.
Flooding will likely end near Montezuma and Terre Haute by this
evening.
Rain chances Sunday night through the end of the week ahead could
bring additional rises to area rivers.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Wabash River at Terre Haute.
* WHEN...Until late tonight.
* IMPACTS...At 16.5 feet, Flood waters begin to enter the two breaks
in the Honey Creek Levee maintained by the Honey Creek Levee
Association. These two breaks occurred during the April 2013
flood.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 11:30 AM EDT Saturday /10:30 AM CDT Saturday/ the stage
was 16.9 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 11:30 AM EDT Saturday /10:30 AM CDT Saturday/ was
18.3 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
late this afternoon and continue falling and remain below
flood stage.
- Flood stage is 16.5 feet.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
