...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Indiana and Illinois... Wabash River from Montezuma to Riverton. .Lowland flooding will continue along a part of the Wabash River in western Indiana this weekend, and likely conclude by noon Monday. The crest as of early Saturday afternoon is nearing Vincennes. Flooding will likely end near Montezuma and Terre Haute by this evening. Rain chances Sunday night through the end of the week ahead could bring additional rises to area rivers. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Wabash River at Hutsonville Legacy Power Plant Site. * WHEN...Until Monday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 20.0 feet, Leaverton Park in Palestine and park in Hutsonville begin to flood. Agricultural flooding spreads to higher land. Seep water is noticeable behind levees. Some elevated river cottages are surrounded by water. Several county or township roads east of Lincoln Heritage Trail between Palestine and Hutsonville in Crawford County Illinois are impassable. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - There is no current observed data. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage early Monday morning and continue falling and remain below flood stage. - Flood stage is 16.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
