* WHAT...Urban areas and small streams flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Southeastern Madison County in southwestern Illinois... * WHEN...Until 900 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 602 PM CDT, trained weather spotters reported 1 foot of moving water over Highway 143 just west of Marine, IL. Flooding is already occurring. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Edwardsville, Glen Carbon, Highland, Troy, Maryville, St. Jacob, Marine, Alhambra, Hamel, Grantfork, Fruit, Kuhn and Kaufman.
Instruction: 
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
