* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...A portion of east central Illinois, including the following county, Vermilion. * WHEN...Until 1045 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. It will take several hours for all the water from these storms to work through local drainage systems in urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 642 PM CDT, emergency management reported flooding in the warned area. Flooding is already occurring. Between 4 and 7.5 inches of rain have fallen. - This includes the following streams and drainages... Lick Creek, Vermilion River and Stony Creek. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Danville. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
