Description:
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is occurring.
* WHERE...A portion of east central Illinois, including the
following county, Vermilion.
* WHEN...Until 645 PM CDT Sunday.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is occurring. Several structures are
flooded. Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. It will
take several hours for all the water from these storms to work
through local drainage systems in urban areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1243 PM CDT, emergency management reported several roads
closed due to flooding in the Stony Creek vicinity in the
warned area. Flooding is ongoing. Between 3.5 and 7.5 inches
of rain have fallen.
- This includes the following streams and drainages...
Lick Creek, Vermilion River and Stony Creek.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Danville.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
