Warning for the following rivers in Illinois...
Skillet Fork River at Wayne City.
.Recent heavy rainfall has caused the Skillet Fork River at Wayne
City to rise to flood stage.
For the Skillet Fork River...including Wayne City...Minor flooding
is forecast.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Skillet Fork River at Wayne City.
* WHEN...From this morning to this evening.
* IMPACTS...At 15.0 feet, Minor flooding occurs affecting mainly
bottomland and surrounding low lying areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 6:00 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 15.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to stay around the 15.0 foot
flood stage the remainder of the morning, then fall below
flood stage this afternoon and continue falling to 6.5 feet
early Tuesday morning.
