Illinois River at Havana affecting Cass, Mason and Fulton
Counties.
...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Illinois...
Illinois River at Beardstown affecting Cass, Morgan, Schuyler and
Brown Counties.
.River levels continue to fall, and the middle section of the
Illinois River should be below flood stage by Wednesday evening.
The following forecasts are based on observed precipitation, soil
moisture conditions, and forecast precipitation.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Illinois River at Havana.
* WHEN...Until just after midnight tonight.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:45 AM CDT Monday the stage was 14.1 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 9:45 AM CDT Monday was 14.6 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
this evening and continue falling to 11.4 feet Monday, May
18.
- Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
