...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Illinois...
Illinois River at Valley City.
Illinois River at Hardin.
River forecasts are based on observed precipitation and forecast
precipitation for the next 24 hours.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Illinois River at Hardin.
* WHEN...Until further notice.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:00 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 28.0 feet and falling.
- Recent Activity...The river rose above flood stage on April 18,
cresting near 28.8 feet on May 1.
- Forecast...The river is expected to continue a slow fall, but
remain above flood stage. It is expected to fall as low as 25.8
feet by Saturday, May 09.
- Flood stage is 25.0 feet.
Instruction:
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars
through flooded areas.
