Fox River at Algonquin Lock & Dam tailwater affecting Kane, Lake IL and McHenry Counties. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Fox River from Johnsburg downstream to Red Gate Road in St. Charles, including the Algonquin Lock & Dam tailwater gauge. * WHEN...Until early Tuesday morning. * IMPACTS...At 11.0 feet, Structures threatened near Elgin Avenue and Corey Street south of East Dundee. Lincoln Avenue threatened in West Dundee. Filip Street and Fox River Drive threatened in Algonquin. Fox River Trail threatened south of downtown Elgin. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:30 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 11.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to continue a gradual fall. - Flood stage is 9.5 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
