* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...A portion of northeast Illinois, including the following counties, Lake IL and McHenry. * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...Multiple roads, yards, and areas of park land are flooding along the Fox River Chain of Lakes. Flooding is expected to continue at least through the end of this week. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 301 PM CDT, River gauges along the Fox River Chain of Lakes indicated that water levels continue to slowly fall. As of today, all lake gauges have reached minor flood stage. - The latest forecast from the Illinois Department of Natural Resources indicates that water levels should continue to slowly fall this week. Water levels may fall below flood stage by this weekend. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Antioch, Fox Lake, Lake Villa, Johnsburg, Lakemoor, Long Lake, Pistakee Highlands, Volo, Channel Lake, Lake Catherine and Fox Lake Hills. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
