River forecasts are based on observed precipitation and forecast precipitation for the next 24 hours. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Illinois River at Valley City. * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, The road to Norbut Fish and Wildlife area is flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:00 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 14.5 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 12:00 PM CDT Tuesday was 14.5 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 15.9 feet Friday morning. - Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
