...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Illinois... Rock River at Moline affecting Henry IL and Rock Island Counties. Rock River near Joslin affecting Henry IL, Whiteside and Rock Island Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Rock River at Moline. * WHEN...Until late Saturday morning. * IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, Moderate Flood Stage. In Moline, water affects homes on South Shore Drive and cuts off access to homes east of the I-74 bridge. Water also affects 49th Avenue south of the theater. Water affects Vandruff Island. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 6:30 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 12.9 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 6:30 PM CDT Sunday was 13.2 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage early Saturday morning and continue falling to 11.4 feet Sunday, May 03. - Flood stage is 12.0 feet.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas. Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks. The next statement will be issued by Monday evening at 730 PM CDT.
