Rock River at Latham Park affecting Winnebago County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and is forecast to continue. * WHERE...Rock River from Swanson Road in Roscoe downstream to Shorewood Park in Loves Park, including the Latham Park gauge. * WHEN...Until Thursday morning. * IMPACTS...At 10.0 feet, property and trails near the boat ramp at Bauer Parkway are threatened. Illinois DNR considers closure of the Rock River. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:30 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 10.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to only gradually fall over the next several days and will likely remain above flood stage through the middle of the week. - Flood stage is 9.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
