For the Des Plaines River...including Russell, Gurnee, Lincolnshire, Des Plaines, River Forest, Riverside...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and is forecasted to continue. * WHERE...Des Plaines River from US-41 in Gurnee downstream to Townline Road in Vernon Hills, including the Gurnee gauge. * WHEN...Until tomorrow afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 7.0 feet, Forest land inundated near the river in Gurnee. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:30 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 7.6 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage late tomorrow morning. - Flood stage is 7.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
