Rock River near Joslin affecting Whiteside, Henry IL and Rock Island Counties. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Rock River at Moline. * WHEN...Until early Thursday morning. * IMPACTS...At 13.2 feet, Water affects 60th Street south of John Deere Road in Moline and 56th Ave from Green Valley Park 48th St. Water is on Canal Road in Big Island. Smith's Island is affected by flood waters. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:30 PM CDT Friday the stage was 13.6 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage Wednesday evening and continue falling to 11.5 feet Friday, May 01. - Flood stage is 12.0 feet.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
