Illinois...
Fox River at Montgomery affecting Kane and Kendall Counties.
Des Plaines River at Lincolnshire affecting Cook and Lake IL
Counties.
Des Plaines River near Russell affecting Lake IL County.
Fox River at Algonquin Lock & Dam tailwater affecting Kane, Lake
IL and McHenry Counties.
...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Illinois...
Des Plaines River near Des Plaines affecting Cook County.
Des Plaines River near Gurnee affecting Lake IL County.
For the Fox River (Illinois)...including Algonquin Lock & Dam
tailwater, Montgomery...Major flooding is forecast.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and is forecasted to continue.
* WHERE...Des Plaines River from US-41 in Gurnee downstream to
Townline Road in Vernon Hills, including the Gurnee gauge.
* WHEN...Until Sunday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...At 9.0 feet, Kilbourne Road and Emerald Avenue
threatened near Grand Avenue in Gurnee.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 7:30 PM CDT Friday the stage was 8.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 7:30 PM CDT Friday was 8.8 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
late Sunday morning and continue falling to 5.0 feet Friday,
May 01.
- Flood stage is 7.0 feet.
