Illinois River at La Salle affecting La Salle, Bureau and Putnam Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and is forecasted to continue. * WHERE...Illinois River from Starved Rock Lock and Dam downstream to confluence with Big Bureau Creek, including the La Salle gauge. * WHEN...Until early tomorrow afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 20.0 feet, agricultural areas in La Salle, Spring Valley, and Peru are inundated. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:45 PM CDT Thursday, the stage was 20.1 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fluctuate around flood stage (20.0 feet) through tonight, then slowly fall below flood stage on Friday. - Flood stage is 20.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
