...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Iowa... Illinois... Wapsipinicon River near De Witt 4S affecting Scott and Clinton Counties. Pecatonica River at Freeport affecting Stephenson County. Rock River at Moline affecting Henry IL and Rock Island Counties. Rock River near Joslin affecting Henry IL, Rock Island and Whiteside Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Pecatonica River at Freeport. * WHEN...Until late tomorrow morning. * IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, Flood Stage. Water affects low lying sections of Freeport mainly east of the Pecatonica River. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:30 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight and continue falling to 10.0 feet Wednesday, April 29. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
