Water affects low lying sections of Freeport mainly east of the Pecatonica River. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:30 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 13.1 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage tonight and continue to slowly fall through the weekend. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.
Instruction: 
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas. Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks. The next statement will be issued by Thursday morning at 900 AM CDT.
