Rock River near Joslin affecting Rock Island, Henry IL and Whiteside Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Pecatonica River at Freeport. * WHEN...Until early Thursday morning. * IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, Flood Stage. Water affects low lying sections of Freeport mainly east of the Pecatonica River. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:30 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 13.2 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage tomorrow evening and continue falling to 10.3 feet Tuesday, April 28. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks. Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
