...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Illinois... Des Plaines River at Lincolnshire affecting Cook and Lake IL Counties. Des Plaines River near Des Plaines affecting Cook County. Des Plaines River near Russell affecting Lake IL County. Des Plaines River near Gurnee affecting Lake IL County. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecasted to occur. * WHERE...Des Plaines River from IL/WI state line downstream to US-41 in Gurnee, including the Russell gauge. * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 9.5 feet, residential structures threatened along Russell Road between the river and Kilbourne Road. Industrial parking lots threatened along Kilbourne Road. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:30 AM CDT Sunday, the stage was 9.6 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to remain nearly steady through this evening before gradually falling over the next several days. - Flood stage is 7.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
