Pecatonica River near Shirland affecting Winnebago County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecasted to occur. * WHERE...Pecatonica River from Winnebago County line downstream to confluence with the Rock River, including the Shirland gauge. * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Structures threatened at Rivers Edge Campground east of Shirland. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:00 AM CDT Sunday, the stage was 13.8 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest near 14.0 feet (Moderate Stage) this evening. It is expected to slowly fall thereafter through next week. - Flood stage is 12.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
