For the Des Plaines River...including Riverside...Minor flooding is forecasted to occur. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecasted. * WHERE...Des Plaines River from Roosevelt Road in Forest Park downstream to Hodgkins, including the Riverside gauge. * WHEN...From late tonight to early Monday morning. * IMPACTS...At 7.5 feet, Low-lying sections of Miller Meadow, Indian Gardens, Cermak Woods, Ottawa Trail Woods, and other forest land along the river are inundated. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 11:45 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 7.1 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest near flood stage tonight and into tomorrow.
