Des Plaines River near Gurnee affecting Lake IL County. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Des Plaines River from Townline Road in Libertyville downstream to Palatine Road in Prospect Heights, including the Lincolnshire gauge. * WHEN...Until Thursday morning. * IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Numerous structures threatened along US-45 (Milwaukee Avenue) between IL-22 (Half Day Road) and Deerfield Road. Access route threatened for numerous residences near US-45 (Milwaukee Avenue) and Deerfield Road. IL-60 (Townline Road) threatened near the river. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 11:45 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 14.8 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 11:45 AM CDT Saturday was 14.8 feet.
