Pecatonica River at Freeport affecting Stephenson County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Pecatonica River at Freeport. * WHEN...Until Wednesday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Moderate Flood Stage. Minor street flooding begins in Freeport and water affects a few back yards east of the Pecatonica River. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:30 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 13.1 feet and rising. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 14.0 feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below flood stage Wednesday morning. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.
Instruction: 
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. The next statement will be issued by Sunday morning at 930 AM CDT.
