For the Des Plaines River...including Riverside...Minor flooding is forecasted. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecasted. * WHERE...Des Plaines River from Roosevelt Road in Forest Park downstream to Hodgkins, including the Riverside gauge. * WHEN...From Saturday afternoon to early Monday morning. * IMPACTS...At 8.0 feet, Park areas are inundated near the confluence of Des Plaines River and Salt Creek. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:45 PM CDT Friday the stage was 6.7 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage early tomorrow afternoon to a crest of 7.9 feet Sunday morning.
