Rock River near Joslin affecting Rock Island, Whiteside and Henry
IL Counties.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Rock River at Como.
* WHEN...From Sunday morning until further notice.
* IMPACTS...At 12.8 feet, water begins to encroach into properties
on Regan Road northeast of Como.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:00 PM CDT Friday the stage was 11.5 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
Sunday morning to a crest of 13.5 feet Monday evening.
- Flood stage is 12.5 feet.
Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.
