Pecatonica River at Freeport affecting Stephenson County. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Pecatonica River at Freeport. * WHEN...Until early Wednesday morning. * IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Moderate Flood Stage. Minor street flooding begins in Freeport and water affects a few back yards east of the Pecatonica River. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:30 PM CDT Friday the stage was 12.8 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage tonight to a crest of 14.4 feet early Sunday morning. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.
Instruction: 
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. The next statement will be issued by Saturday evening at 1030 PM CDT.
