Rock River at Moline affecting Rock Island and Henry IL Counties.
Rock River near Joslin affecting Rock Island, Whiteside and Henry
IL Counties.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.
* WHERE...Rock River near Joslin.
* WHEN...Until further notice.
* IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, water affects much of Barstow Road between
Barstow and Osborn. Water also affects homes in Osborn.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:45 PM CDT Friday the stage was 13.1 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to continue rising to a
crest of 16.1 feet Wednesday afternoon.
- Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.
