...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Illinois...
Kishwaukee River at Belvidere affecting Boone and Winnebago
Counties.
For the Kishwaukee River...including Belvidere...Minor flooding is
forecast.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Kishwaukee River from County Line Road downstream to
confluence with South Branch Kishwaukee River, including the
Belvidere gauge.
* WHEN...Until Saturday evening.
* IMPACTS...At 9.5 feet, Holiday Acres Campground threatened east of
Belvidere. Northwoods RV Resort is threatened in Garden Prairie.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 11:30 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 9.0 feet.
- The river has climbed overnight to near flood stage.
- Forecast...The river is expected to crest near 9.3 feet this
evening.
- Flood stage is 9.0 feet.

Instruction:
A Flood Warning means water levels above flood stage are imminent or
may already be occurring. Persons along rivers and streams in the
warned area should take immediate precautions to protect life and
property.

rainfall forecast, or any additional rainfall after 24 hours, may
cause changes to these river forecasts.
