...The National Weather Service in Quad Cities IA IL has issued a Flood Warning for the following rivers in Illinois... Rock River near Joslin affecting Rock Island, Henry IL and Whiteside Counties. Rock River at Moline affecting Rock Island and Henry IL Counties. Rock River at Como affecting Whiteside County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Rock River at Como. * WHEN...From Friday evening to early Tuesday morning. * IMPACTS...At 12.8 feet, Water begins to encroach into properties on Regan Road northeast of Como. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:30 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 8.7 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late tomorrow evening to a crest of 13.1 feet Sunday morning. More rain is forecast Friday night which may result in a higher crest. - Flood stage is 12.5 feet.
