For the Des Plaines River...including Russell, Gurnee...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Des Plaines River from US-41 in Gurnee downstream to Townline Road in Vernon Hills, including the Gurnee gauge. * WHEN...Until early Monday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 9.0 feet, Kilbourne Road and Emerald Avenue threatened near Grand Avenue in Gurnee. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:30 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 8.0 feet. - Forecast...The river may remain near 8 feet through Friday night before slowly falling over the weekend. - Flood stage is 7.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
