* Flash Flood Warning for...
Winnebago County in north central Illinois...
* Until 930 PM CDT.
* At 530 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Up to 1 inch of rain has
fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 1 to 2 inches in 1 hour.
Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the
warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding.

IMPACT...Rapid-onset flooding of creeks, streams, drainage
ditches, streets, underpasses, low-lying areas, and
other poor drainage areas.

Rockford, Loves Park, Machesney Park, Roscoe, South Beloit,
Rockton, Rockford Airport, Cherry Valley, Winnebago, Davis
Junction, Pecatonica, Lake Summerset, Durand, New Milford, Seward,
Harrison and Shirland.
Instruction:
A Flash Flood Warning means rapid-onset flooding is imminent or may
already be occurring. Persons along creeks, drainage ditches, and
other waterways should take immediate precautions to protect life
and property.
