Description: 
At 227 PM CDT, emergency management reported thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 3 and 5 inches of rain have fallen in the hardest hit areas. Additional rainfall amounts up to a half inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE...Emergency management reported. IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Cambridge, Woodhull, Andover, Osco, Henry County Fairgrounds, Ulah and Nekoma. This includes Interstate 74 in Illinois between mile markers 24 and 33. County Rd 14 closed near Cambridge due to water over roadway. Creeks flowing out of their banks near Ulah.
Instruction: 
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Move to higher ground now. Act quickly to protect your life.
