Description:
At 512 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 13
miles south of Craigmont, or 17 miles northwest of Grangeville,
moving northwest at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Craigmont, Winchester, and Reubens.
This includes U.S. Highway 95 in Idaho between mile markers 268 and
285.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until midnight PDT for
north central Idaho.
