Description:
At 217 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Donnelly, or 9 miles south of McCall, moving north at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Areas of blowing dust reducing
visibility. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.

McCall around 230 PM MDT.
Payette Lake and Little Payette Lake around 240 PM MDT.
Meadows and Brundage Ski Area around 250 PM MDT.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
If on or near Payette Lake, get out of the water and move indoors or
inside a vehicle. Remember, lightning can strike out to 10 miles
from the parent thunderstorm. If you can hear thunder, you are close
enough to be struck by lightning. Move to safe shelter now! Do not
be caught on the water in a thunderstorm.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM MDT for
southwestern Idaho.
