At 426 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms near Twin Springs, or 11 miles southeast of Idaho City, moving northwest at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Areas of blowing dust reducing visibility. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Idaho City, Garden Valley, Pioneerville, Centerville, Crouch, Placerville, Scott Mountain, Thorn Creek Summit, Harris Creek Summit, Twin Springs, Mores Creek Summit, Barber Flat Guard Station, and Arrowrock Reservoir.
