At 324 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms over Murphy, or 25 miles south of Nampa, moving northeast at 40 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Areas of blowing dust reducing visibility. Locations impacted include... Nampa, Caldwell, Kuna, Melba, Murphy, Givens Hot Springs, Initial Point, Lake Lowell, Guffey, and Walters Ferry.
