Description:
At 330 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong outflow winds along
a line extending from near Owyhee to Greenleaf to near Lake Lowell
to 6 miles south of Nampa. Movement was northeast at 10 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Areas of blowing dust reducing
visibility.
Strong thunderstorms will be near...
Nampa, Caldwell, Parma, and Kuna around 340 PM MDT.
Middleton and Nyssa around 350 PM MDT.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM MDT for
southwestern Idaho...and southeastern Oregon.
