Description:
* WHAT...For the Lake Wind Advisory for American Falls Reservoir,
north winds 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph expected. For the
Frost Advisory, temperatures 32 to 36 will result in frost
formation. Areas along the interstates from Burley to Pocatello to
Idaho Falls may remain warmer than 36 tonight.
* WHERE...Lower Snake River Plain.
* WHEN...For the Lake Wind Advisory, until 9 PM MDT this evening.
For the Frost Advisory, from 3 AM to 9 AM MDT Monday.
* IMPACTS...Strong winds and rough waves on area lakes will create
hazardous conditions for small craft. Frost could harm sensitive
outdoor vegetation. Sensitive outdoor plants may be killed if left
uncovered.
Instruction:
Boaters on area lakes should use extra caution since strong winds
and rough waves can overturn small craft.
Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold.
