...FREEZING RAIN IMPACTS THE AREA THIS MORNING...
.Freezing rain threat is shifting north through the morning hours,
continuing locally in central Wisconsin through the late morning
hours. Additional accumulations up to 0.1" to 0.2" possible.
* WHAT...Significant icing Northcentral Wisconsin. Additional ice
accumulations between one tenth and two tenths of an inch. Winds
gusting as high as 35 mph.
* WHERE...Clark and Taylor Counties.
* WHEN...Until noon CDT today.
* IMPACTS...Difficult travel conditions are possible.
Instruction:
Travel is strongly discouraged. If you must travel, keep an extra
flashlight, food and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency.
Prepare for possible power outages. Visit 511wi.gov for road
conditions.
