Description:
* WHAT...Significant icing expected. Total ice accumulations up to
three tenths of an inch. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph.
* WHERE...A portion of central Upper Michigan.
* WHEN...From 11 PM EDT /10 PM CDT/ this evening to 11 AM EDT /10 AM
CDT/ Saturday.
* IMPACTS...Power outages and tree damage are likely due to the ice.
Travel will be difficult.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Expect less ice accumulation, less than one
tenth of an inch, near the Bay of Green Bay, including the city of
Menominee.
Instruction:
If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency. Prepare for possible power
outages.
