* WHAT...Northwest winds 35 to 45 mph with gusts around 70 mph possible. * WHERE...Sangre de Cristo Mountains, Central Highlands, South Central Mountains, Johnson and Bartlett Mesas Including Raton Pass, Far Northeast Highlands, Northeast Highlands, Guadalupe County, and Eastern Lincoln County. * WHEN...Until 4 PM MDT this afternoon. * IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines. Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Areas of blowing dust may reduce visibility below one mile at times in dust prone locations.
