Description:
* WHAT...West winds 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 60 mph expected.
* WHERE...Northern Elko, Ruby Mountains and East Humboldt Range in
Elko, South Central Elko, and Southeastern Elko Counties.
* WHEN...From 11 AM to 11 PM PDT Saturday.
* IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines.
Blowing dust may temporarily reduce visibility to one-half mile or
less in spots. Travel will be difficult, especially for high
profile vehicles.
Instruction:
Remain in the lower levels of your home during the windstorm, and
avoid windows. Watch for falling debris and tree limbs. Use caution
if you must drive.
