Description:
* WHAT...West winds 40 to 50 mph with gusts up to 75 mph expected.
* WHERE...Portions of central and north central Montana.
* WHEN...From 3 AM Sunday to midnight MDT Sunday Night.
* IMPACTS...High winds may move loose debris, damage property and
cause power outages. Travel could be difficult, especially for
high profile vehicles. Damaging winds will blow down trees and
power lines. Power outages are expected. Travel will be very
difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Blowing dust
could significantly reduce visibility at times.
Instruction:
People are urged to secure loose objects that could be blown around
or damaged by the wind.
If possible, consider delaying travel during the period of highest
winds or finding an alternate route.
Remember, a High Wind Warning means that there is at least an 80%
chance of 40 mph sustained winds or 58 mph wind gusts occurring
during the warning period.
